Welcome to Human Services! This year you will learn about human development from teens to gerontology. You will learn the skills you need to assist people through as they develop while being encouraging and supportive of their individual needs. You will explore a variety of career options related to Human Services.
Esteem-To regard favorably or highly.Regard with respect and admiration.To consider as a certain type or certain value.

Self-Actualization-The achievement of one's full potential through creativity,independence,spontaneity, and a grasp of the real world.
Sentence-Everyone has self-actualization if they look hard enough.
Physiological-Consistent with the normal functioning of an organism.
Sentence-My physiological needs to be met everyday for me to have a productive day.
Potential-Possible as opposed to actual.
Sentence- Everyone has potential to do great things with their life if all their needs are met.
Recognition-An act of recognizing or the state of being recognized.
Sentence-Everyone deserves recognition in order to feel good about themselves.
Motivator-To provide with a motive or motives.
Sentence-Some people are good at being motivators for other people who can't motivate themselves.
Internal-Situated or existing in the interior of something.
Sentence-There are lots of things that are internal,like internal mail in an office.
External-Of or pertaining to the outside or outer part.
Sentence- There are many external parts to a business like meetings that happen outside of the business building.

The child finally reached self-actualization.
Physiological- consistant with the normal functioning of an organism.
Some people may have ohysiologial problems.
Potential- capable of being or becoming.
A child has the potential to become the President.
Recognition- the acknowledgement of achievement, merit, service,etc.
Many people recieve recognition when they do something good.
Motivator- to provide with a motive or motives.
Some people are good motivators well others do not know how to be.
Internal- situated or existing in the interior of something.
Some people keep things bottled up in their interior.
External- of or pertaining to the outside or outer part.
Some animals have external shells.
Esteem- Favorably or highly. Favorable opinion or judgement.

Sometimes its hard to find your self actualization.
Physioligical- Consistent with the normal functioning of an organism.
In order to function properly through life you must have the correct physioligical needs.
Potential- Capable of being or becoming.
That girl has great potential if she would only believe.
Recognition- The identification of something as having been previously seen, heard, known etc.
He got recognition for being the citizen of the year.
Motivator- To provide with a motive or motives.
Some kids who dont want to do anything need someone to be a motivator for them.
Internal- Situated or exsiting in the interior of something.
Some people have internal problems but you wouldnt be able to tell by looking at them.
External- Of or pertaining to the outside or outer part.
There are many oitments and medicines that are used for external use only.

Esteem ~ A feeling of acceptence and recognition. To respect and be respected.

Physiological ~ The basic needs of what you need to survive.
Potential ~ What you've got to give.
Recognition ~ People noticing something you've spent time doing.
Motivator ~ A push in the right direction.
Internal ~ How you feel on things. How you feel about yourself.
External ~ How you feel about others. caring about what others think.

Esteem: High respect for others,regard highly.

Self-actualization: Accepting yourself;not caring about what others think.
many teens have trouble having self actualization.
Phsiological:lifes basic needs: Water, air, warmth, ect.
Without having your physiological needs meet people can not grow and prosper.
Potential: What you have to offer everyone and everything; where your going.
Many people don't know their real potential.
Recognition: Being noticed for an achievment or accomplishment that you have done.
There are plenty of people that do not get the recognition tehy deserve.
Motivator: Something to get you going; or someone.
Sports can be a motivater for students to get good grades.
Internal: How you feel about something or feel about yourself.
MAny people have internal problems that can not be seen.
External: How you see others and others see you; caring about what people think of you.
Because people have different exteriors they are judged often.
